Costa-Rica Rust converter CP15

Product Overview

CP15 is a general-purpose water-based rust converter, which is made of new polymer emulsion as the film-forming material, with wetting and penetrating additives and functional additives. When applied to the surface of rust, it can produce complex reaction with rust, and generate a dense black antirust protective coating.

● Eliminate the complicated pre-painting treatment process such as grinding, acid pickling and rust removal, washing, phosphatizing, sand blasting, pre-coating, etc., greatly reducing the construction intensity and comprehensive treatment cost.

Good compatibility with various primers and topcoats (epoxy, alkyd, acrylic, polyurethane, fluorocarbon).

Construction instructions

Substrate treatment: wire brush, electric brush and other tools to clean up the floating rust on the substrate, to remove the large loose floating rust, oil, soil and other foreign matter that is not solid.

Construction method: brush, spray or soak on the rusty surface, use the transformed antirust protective layer as primer, and spray the top coat after drying.

Construction conditions: temperature above 10 degrees and below 45 degrees, humidity below 85%.

Outdoor rain, snow, foggy weather can not be construction.

Construction interval: surface drying time of 10-30 minutes; 12 hours after the next step can be sprayed primer and topcoat.

Application: It is suitable for anticorrosion treatment of steel bars, steel structures, storage tanks, pipelines and other metals with rust.

Packing specification: 50kg/drum or 1000kg/drum, or according to customer's customization.

Storage & Transportation

Shelf life of 6 months, storage temperature 5-35 ℃, pay attention to anti-freezing, avoid light and sealed storage.
