Kuwait Paint thickener ASE60

Product Overview

ASE-60 is an anionic hydrophobically modified acrylic alkali swelling thickener, which can be used in emulsion paint formulations alone or in combination with other types of thickeners, with good compatibility with various emulsions. At relatively low dosage, ASE-60 can effectively improve the low shear shear viscosity, so that the paint system has a high pseudoplasticity. It is used for thickening water-based systems such as interior and exterior emulsion paints.

-No cracking and shrinkage phenomenon due to dehydration, it is an ideal product to replace cellulose ether type.

Usage method

Adjust the PH value of the system to 8.0-9.0, dilute ASE-60 with water in the ratio of 1:1.

Under low-speed stirring, slowly add the diluted ASE-60, close to the specified viscosity, pause to add thickener, and fully stir for 15-20 minutes, after the viscosity stabilizes to the standard, stop adding thickener.
