Anti-flash rust agent main ingredients

Water-based coatings have become an important development direction of modern coatings because they use water as the main solvent, which is less harmful to the human body and the environment, and have the characteristics of convenient construction, good safety, easy storage and transportation. At present, water-based coatings are widely used in the field of architectural coatings and electrophoretic coatings, but their use in metal anti-corrosion coatings is still very limited. The use of waterborne coatings on steel surfaces is highly susceptible to corrosion due to the presence of water and oxygen in the drying process, which is called flash rust. Especially when waterborne coatings are applied to high carbon steel or cast iron, the problem of flash rust is difficult to be solved.

Usage

It can be added at any stage of the production process.
The recommended additive amount to solve the flash rust problem is 0.1-1% of the total formula.
To inhibit weld locations, raw cast iron and sandblasted iron from rusting, the recommended additive amount is 1-2%.
