Solvent-free, pre-mixed epoxy colored sand self-leveling flooring is a top-tier flooring solution that combines environmental friendliness with exceptional performance. By pre-mixing Component A (colored sand) and resin at the factory, the system requires only the addition of Component B (curing agent) on-site, ensuring structural stability and uniform color. The finished product boasts extremely high Mohs hardness, is slip-resistant and wear-resistant, and exhibits zero shrinkage, enabling it to withstand heavy-duty traffic with ease. It is the ideal choice for demanding environments such as precision manufacturing facilities, biopharmaceutical plants, and high-end exhibition halls.
1. Substrate Preparation
Use heavy-duty grinding or shot-blasting to remove laitance and expose the solid aggregate. The foundation is critical for the physical anchorage of solvent-free systems. The surface must reach a pull-off strength of over 1.5MPa and a moisture content below 8% to ensure a stable interface for the A+B chemical bond.
2. Solvent-Free Priming
Apply a high-penetration primer to create a "chemical bridge" and seal concrete pores. This prevents trapped air from the substrate from causing surface defects like bubbles or pinholes in the quartz layer.
3. Efficient A+B Mixing
Since the quartz sand is already pre-mixed in Part A, there is no need for on-site sand loading. Simply combine Part A (Pre-mixed Resin & Quartz) and Part B (Hardener) in the correct ratio. Use a high-shear mixer for 3-5 minutes to ensure the hardener reacts fully and the mixture reaches a smooth, uniform consistency.

4. Spreading and Thickness Control
Pour the mixed material onto the floor and spread it with a notched squeegee. With zero shrinkage, the wet film thickness equals the final dry film thickness, allowing for precise control of the floor profile without the worry of sinking or thinning.
5. Air Release and Defoaming
Workers must wear spiked shoes and use a spiked roller to release air trapped during mixing. Our formula’s built-in defoamers work quickly to ensure a dense, seamless, and pinhole-free finish.

6. Mechanical Compaction and Polishing
Power troweling before the resin sets is vital. This mechanical pressure forces the pre-mixed sand particles into their densest state, maximizing the floor's impact resistance and wear durability—the key to withstanding heavy industrial traffic.
7. Final Topcoating
Apply a final solvent-free topcoat to seal micro-gaps and enhance stain resistance. This final layer provides a premium, stone-like aesthetic while ensuring the floor meets the highest industrial and environmental standards.
