Despite the presence of insulation layers for thermal regulation, the long-term waterproofing and rust prevention of these sheets remain a persistent concern for property owners. Many owners opt for high-quality specialised coatings during renovation, reapplying anti-corrosion paint. However, traditional rust-proof paints often fail environmental standards, emit pungent odours, cause significant pollution, and entail substantial labour costs and construction difficulties. Flash rust inhibitor CK114 is a highly effective corrosion suppressant formulated from a blend of organic and inorganic compounds. It provides reliable rust flash inhibition across diverse substrates, including iron, cast iron, carbon steel, alloy steel, and submerged arc welds. This product exhibits excellent compatibility with coating systems, does not affect drying speed or substrate adhesion, and enhances the rust-preventive properties of the coating.
Product Characteristics:
1. Forms an insoluble, dense oxide film on metal surfaces, preventing anodic dissolution.
2. Contains polar groups that adsorb onto metal surface charges, forming a monolayer film to inhibit or retard corresponding electrochemical reactions.
3. Delivers outstanding flash rust prevention at low addition levels.
4. Suitable for water-based acrylic, water-based alkyd resin systems, etc.
Usage Instructions:
- Recommended for addition during the final stage of water-based paint preparation
- For addressing flash rust issues, recommended dosage is 0.1–1% of total formulation
- To inhibit flash rust on welds, cast iron, and carbon steel, recommended dosage is 1–2%
