In the coatings industry, dispersants are indispensable core additives that directly determine the color, stability, workability and final coating effect of the paints. In practical applications, water-based coating-specific dispersants possess both environmental friendliness and dispersibility, making them suitable for environmentally friendly coatings such as water-based latex paints and water-based wood coatings, addressing issues of easy stratification and precipitation; solvent-based coating dispersants, on the other hand, have excellent compatibility, suitable for solvent-based industrial paints and automotive paints, enhancing the leveling performance of the coatings during application. Moreover, high-quality coating dispersants can reduce the viscosity of the coatings, improve the construction feel, extend the storage life of the coatings, and reduce coating defects. Nowadays, with the widespread adoption of environmentally friendly coatings, low-VOC and highly efficient coating-specific dispersants have become the mainstream in the industry, providing strong support for the green upgrade of the coating industry.
