Principle of Metal Corrosion:
Metal atoms lose electrons to become ions, undergoing oxidation reactions. Fundamentally, the chemical transformation during corrosion involves the oxidation of metallic elements into compounds. Application of Rust Conversion Agents:
Specially developed for diverse substrates and environments, these agents provide rust-inhibiting corrosion protection for steel bars, structures, storage tanks, pipelines, and other rusted metal surfaces.
Qingdao Enze Chemical has launched Rust Converter CP15, meticulously formulated with a novel polymer emulsion as the film-forming agent, supplemented by wetting/penetrating additives and functional aids. When applied to rusted surfaces, it undergoes a complexation reaction with rust to form a dense, black anti-rust protective coating. This eliminates complex pre-treatment processes like grinding, acid washing, water rinsing, phosphating, sandblasting, and pre-coating, significantly reducing labor intensity and overall treatment costs. We have long been committed to the R&D and industrial application of water-based products such as emulsions and additives. Our leading role in developing water-based new materials has resulted in 14 national patents.
Our R&D team's newly developed Rust Converter N800 is a high-gloss, low-viscosity water-based rust converter. Meticulously formulated with functional emulsions and polymeric rust conversion additives, it reacts with rust upon application to form a dense, gray-black protective coating. It features fast drying, excellent penetration, high cost-effectiveness, high coverage area, and low overall usage costs.
