Product Description:
Zinc stearate is a white, light powder with a specific gravity of 1.095. It has a slippery feel, is insoluble in water, and soluble in hot organic solvents such as ethanol, benzene, and turpentine. It decomposes into stearic acid and the corresponding zinc salt when exposed to strong acids. This product is hygroscopic.

Applications:
Primarily used as a lubricant and release agent for styrene resins, phenolic resins, and amino resins; as a softening lubricant for rubber products; as a finishing agent for textiles; as a stabilizer for polyvinyl chloride plastics; as a matting agent for paints and enamels; and as a raw material for cosmetics and flour.
Packaging and Storage:
Packaged in 20 or 25 kg containers. Store in a cool, dark place away from moisture.
