Product Introduction:
TAF Anti-Exposure Agent for Glass Fibers is a novel polymeric flow modifier. In glass fiber-reinforced plastics, it effectively prevents glass fiber exposure, enhances plastic processing flowability, reduces screw torque, and improves product surface finish. Due to its high-temperature resistance and excellent thermal stability, it significantly improves glass fiber exposure issues and is suitable for nearly all engineering plastics. TAF can also be used in highly filled color masterbatches for polyester, polycarbonate, nylon, etc., to improve flow and lubricity.
Quality Specifications:
Item Standard Appearance White or pale yellow granules and powder Melting Point ≥135℃ Loss on Heating (WT) ≤0.5% Color (Gardner) ≤5.0 Acid Value (kOH mg/g) ≤15.0 Total Amine Value (kOH mg/g) ≤10.0
Key Properties:
1. Excellent mutual meltability in PA, PC, and PBT.
2. Strong affinity with glass fibers and inorganic fillers.
3. Excellent glass fiber coating properties in glass fiber-modified materials to prevent fiber exposure.
4. Provides superior surface gloss and lubricity to finished products.
5. Reduces mechanical wear.
Primary Applications:
1. Primarily used in glass fiber-reinforced nylon (PA6/PA66), PBT, TET, PP, ABS, PC, and POM products as a glass fiber exposure inhibitor while enhancing surface gloss. Improves product flowability, demolding, moisture resistance, anti-settling, stain resistance, anti-static properties, and dispersion. Reduces processing temperature by 3-5°C, decreases screw torque, minimizes machine wear, extends equipment lifespan, and saves energy. Recommended dosage: 0.3-1.2%, 2-5% for PC flame-retardant pellets
2. Developed to achieve optimal pigment dispersion for high-load color masterbatches and color powders. Particularly suitable for carbon black, phthalocyanine blue, phthalocyanine green, and other difficult-to-disperse pigments. Recommended dosage: Only 1/2 to 1/4 the amount of PE wax or EBS required to achieve ideal dispersion.
3. Inorganic Powder Coating Agent
Used for coating inorganic powders, offering overall performance superior to most coupling agents and stearic acid-based coatings. Recommended dosage: 0.5-1%
Packaging:
25 kg/bag Kraft paper bag
