Continuing yesterday's mini-lesson, how do you choose a reliable gypsum interface agent product?
1. Thicker isn't necessarily better for gypsum interface agent. Many manufacturers tout their products' thickness and bonding strength. However, thickness alone doesn't guarantee better performance. Bonding strength is determined solely by the product's actual parameters and cannot be judged simply by viscosity.
2. Color of gypsum interface agent products. The primer itself is naturally milky white. One drawback is that after application, the traces are hard to spot—those with poor eyesight might not distinguish primed walls from unprimed ones. Hence, most primers now come in colored versions. However, darker color does not necessarily indicate higher product quality.
Our Product Advantages:
1. Excellent workability and high bonding strength
2. Resistant to hollow spots and cracking; allows for thicker leveling applications, though multiple coats are recommended
3. Superior water resistance; does not swell when wet and remains stable after drying
The specific choice of gypsum interface agent ultimately depends on individual requirements. Enze Chemical looks forward to collaborating with you!
